Concorde 216 - Alpha Foxtrot - made the final supersonic flight and last ever flight of a Concorde when she flew from London Heathrow to Filton on 26 November 2003. Lucky fans of Concorde had pre-booked for their special anniversary Concorde at Filton experience, and with a fully-booked morning and afternoon tour the volunteers had their work cut out as they celebrated the demise of supersonic passenger flight with customers on the day's tours. Celebrity former Concorde pilot Christopher Orlebar was there to sign copies of his updated book 'The Concorde Story', which now contains a section on that day sad exactly two years ago. The volunteers themselves are holding their own special celebration after the centre has closed for business, with a three-course dinner with guests, a Concorde raffle and other events.
