We can confirm that an accident took place yesterday involving an elderly gentleman who was visiting Concorde.

He fell from the overhead walkway which leads to Concorde and sustained serious injuries, from which he has sadly since died. The emergency services were called immediately and he was taken to hospital.

South Gloucestershire environmental health officers were also on the scene.

The Visitor Centre will remain closed over the weekend to allow the appropriate authorities to complete the necessary investigations.
