Concorde 216 G-BOAF was today moved to a more permanent location on a recently-laid hardstanding, in readiness for her first visitors after Easter. The hardstanding has been constructed a short distance from the West Bay of the Brabazon Hangar, alongside a number of portacabins that will act as a small reception area for the Bristol Aero Collection's pride of place exhibit. Visitors will be 'bussed in' from the Airbus main site reception, and will pay around £10 for the privelege of boarding BOAF in small groups, according to a spokesperson this week. The first visitors are expected shortly after Easter, and the visits are already fully subscribed well into the summer. Although no notification has been confirmed by the BAC with subscribers, names and contact details have been taken and the first invitations are expected to be sent out shortly on a first come first served basis.
